Vouchers to be available starting Tuesday for Reno talk

Free vouchers to attend a talk by former U.S. Attorney General Janet Reno later this month at Kansas University will be available starting Tuesday, KU officials announced Wednesday.

The talk, “A Conversation with Janet Reno,” will be at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 23 at the Lied Center on KU’s west campus. Reno, the country’s only woman to serve as attorney general, will also visit three KU law classes and attend a law school faculty luncheon.

Vouchers to her public presentation will be available beginning Tuesday in the Student Union Activities office in the Kansas Union and the Lied Center box office. Phone orders for will call may be made at 785-864-4550. Those attending must arrive at least 10 minutes before the program.

The lecture is funded through the KU School of Law’s Stephenson Lecture in Law and Government and Waldron-Foster Professionalism funds.
