Members of the Public Improvements Task Force are Ron Durflinger, a home builder; Phil Struble of Landplan Engineering; Douglas County Commissioner Bob Johnson; Lawrence school board member Rich Minder; East Lawrence Neighborhood Assn. leader Ed Tato; and Melinda Henderson, coordinator of the Progressive Lawrence Campaign.

The committee meets at 8 a.m. Sept. 16.
