Freeda A. Crawshaw

? Services for Freeda A. Crawshaw, 83, Eudora, will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Williamstown Assembly of God Church. Burial will be in Shawnee Center Cemetery, Wakarusa Township.

Mrs. Crawshaw died Friday, Oct. 17, 2003, at Eudora Nursing Center.

She was born June 5, 1920, in Ness City, the daughter of Willard and Edith (Rankin) Locke.

Mrs. Crawshaw was a baker at a Kansas University residence hall for more than 15 years. She and her husband farmed in Perry from 1959 to 2000. They also ran grocery stores in Topeka and Elmont. She was a member of Williamstown Assembly of God.

She married Clarence N. Crawshaw on Jan. 30, 1946, in Topeka. He died Aug. 19, 1999.

A son, Steeve Alexander Crawshaw, died May 6, 1969, in Vietnam.

Survivors include a brother, Glenn Locke, Grand Junction, Colo.; and three sisters, Helen Bland, Colorado Springs, Colo., and Violet Selders and Shirley Radebaugh, both of Grand Junction, Colo.

Friends may call from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary Eudora Chapel, where the family will receive them from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. The family suggests memorials to Eudora Nursing Center, sent in care of the mortuary.
