Michael Brent Ramsey

Mr. Ramsey died Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2003, at his home.

He was born Nov. 28, 1968, in Crawford, Neb., the son of Floyd “Gene” E. and Mary Anne (Perkins) Ramsey. He moved in 1973 to Ottawa from Crawford and graduated from Ottawa High School in 1987.

Mr. Ramsey worked in the family business, Ramsey Printing, as a darkroom technician. He was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and Aerie Lodge No. 2700 Fraternal Order of Eagles, both of Ottawa, and Williamsburg Wildlife Assn.

Survivors include his parents, Ottawa; a daughter, Michaela Forrer, of the home; two sisters, Marcia Gentry, Alma, and Jo Peterson, Salina; and a brother, Kent, Ottawa.

The family suggests memorials to Bea Martin Peck Animal Shelter or Kansas State University School of Veterinary Science, sent in care of Dengel and Son Mortuary, 235 S. Hickory, Ottawa 66067.
