Reserve units mobilized

? More Kansas reservists are getting orders to mobilize for duty in Iraq and the war on terrorism.

Four Army Reserve units have received orders to mobilize, while two additional units remain on alert, Master Sgt. Jack Lee of the 89th Regional Readiness Command in Wichita, said Thursday.

About 50 soldiers of the 821st Transportation Battalion of Topeka were ordered to mobilize. The unit supervises transportation and cargo operations.

Others mobilized were about 160 soldiers of the 443rd Transportation Company in Great Bend, 60 soldiers of the 243rd Quartermaster Battalion in Parsons and 20 soldiers of the 368th Finance Battalion in Wichita.
