Lawrence police say they are reviewing a hotel surveillance tape that might provide clues about who slashed more than two dozen visiting Nebraska football fans’ tires Friday night.

“We’re not sure yet whether or not the tape shows the part of the parking lot in which the damage occurred,” said Police Sgt. Mike Pattrick.

Nebraska fans staying at at least five hotels woke up Saturday morning to find their tires slashed. All but one of the 25 cars targeted had Nebraska license plates, according to police reports.
