Manhattan ? Will Clay’s second goal of the game in the second overtime gave Andover a 2-1 victory over De Soto in the Class 4-3-2-1A soccer state-championship game Saturday.

Jesse Smith scored for the Wildcats late in the second period to force the overtime.

“I thought it was our best game of the year,” De Soto coach Michael Murphy said. “When it comes down to an overtime situation like that, it’s almost a coin flip.”

De Soto ended its season with a record of 17-5.
