Relatives of the late Max Kennedy, head golf pro at Alvamar from 1970-81, are inviting friends to share their experiences with Mr. Kennedy during today’s memorial service.

“It will definitely be a celebration of his life,” said Rick Kennedy, his oldest son. “We’ll have an open mike for people to share their memories.”

The service is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. at Alvamar Country Club.

Max Kennedy died Saturday at the age of 78 from complications of an accident he suffered while golfing at the Alvamar CC course.
