KU softball schedule altered for this weekend

Kansas University’s Big 12 Conference softball game against Iowa State originally scheduled for today has been rescheduled due to the possibility of unfavorable weather conditions, KU softball coach Tracy Bunge announced Friday.

Instead of single games today and Sunday, the Jayhawks and Cyclones will play a doubleheader starting at 1 p.m. Sunday in Ames, Iowa.

Sunday — at Iowa State (2), 1 p.m.; April 2 — at Wichita State (2), 4 p.m.; April 5 — Texas Tech, 2 p.m.; April 6 — Texas Tech, 1 p.m.; April 9 — at Creighton (2), 5 p.m.; April 10 — at Nebraska, 5 p.m.; April 12 — Texas A&M, 2 p.m.; April 13 — Texas A&M, 1 p.m.; April 16 — Arkansas (2), 3 p.m.; April 19 — at Texas (2), noon; April 21 — Missouri (2), 5 p.m.; April 23 — UMKC (2), 3 p.m.; April 25 — Nebraska, 5 p.m.; April 26 — Baylor, 2 p.m.; April 27 — Baylor, 1 p.m.; May 1-4 — Big 12 Tournament in Oklahoma City
