Verna “Louise” Robison

? Graveside services for Verna “Louise” Robison, 84, Silver Lake, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Prairie Home Cemetery in Topeka.

Mrs. Robison died Sunday, March 23, 2003, at a Topeka nursing home.

She was born July 6, 1918, in Clinton, the daughter of Charles Olin and Edna Grace (Anderson) Belles. She lived in the Lawrence area until she moved in 1949 to Silver Lake.

Mrs. Robison worked at an aircraft factory during World War II and as a Medicare claims clerk for Blue Cross Blue Shield from 1970 to 1980. She was a member of Silver Lake Senior Citizens Inc. and Sliver Lake United Methodist Church.

She married Edward Howard Robison on Sept. 5, 1942, in Las Vegas. He died April 18, 1969.

Survivors include two daughters, Carol J. Wichman, Silver Lake, and Janet G. Grimsley, Garden Valley, Idaho; a son, Bernard R. Robison, Topeka; two sisters, Dorothy Goff, Lawrence, and Opal Dow, Grass Valley, Calif.; three brothers, Charles Belles, Lawrence; Lynn Belles, Burney, Calif., and Howard Belles, Norwalk, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 3 p.m. today at Parker-Price Mortuary in Topeka, where family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. today.
