Kyle W. Andregg

? Memorial services for Kyle W. Andregg, 66, Hoxie, will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at United Methodist Church in Hoxie. Private inurnment will follow.

Mr. Andregg died Monday, March 10, 2003, of leukemia at Sheridan County Hospital in Hoxie.

He was born Jan. 11, 1937, in Hays, the son of Chester and Hazel (Steinshouer) Andregg. He lived near Menlo until he moved to Hoxie in 1948. He attended grade school and high school in Hoxie and attended Fort Hays State University from 1955 to 1959. He lived in Lawrence from 1974 to 1981 and returned to Hoxie in 1993.

Mr. Andregg was program director for community housing in Lawrence and worked in city government in Colby; he also worked in real estate sales and was a buyer for Douglas County School District in Castle Rock, Colo. He was a member of United Methodist Church and Elks Club, both in Hoxie, Fraternal Order of Eagles in Castle Rock, and was a 32nd degree Mason with St. Thomas Lodge No. 306 in Colby. He was also active with Colby Jaycees at the state and national level and was Outstanding Kansan Jaycee in 1967.

He married Janice Sealock on Aug. 25, 1957, in Hoxie. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include a son, Todd, Lawrence; two daughters, Debbie Post, Scottsbluff, Neb., and Kyra Stromgren, Silver Lake; his parents, Hoxie, and 10 grandchildren.

The family will receive friends after the service in the church social hall.
