Two Haskell Indian Nations University softball players were honored Monday by the Midland Collegiate Athletic Conference.

Kim DeRoin was named MCAC Pitcher of the Week after earning victories last weekend against Graceland and Mount Mercy, posting an ERA of 0.00. Terri Slinkey was named MCAC Player of the Week after going 5-for-6 in the two games. She had two home runs, a triple and scored five runs for the Fightin’ Indians (2-0).
