BEAVERTON, ORE. ? Lawrence’s Bob Glass is in third place after Monday’s first round of the PGA Senior Northwest Classic at Valley Lanes.

Glass’s eight-game pinfall total of 1,766 trails only Kerry Fulford (1,796) of Waco, Texas, and Steve Neff (1,771) of Homosassa Springs, Fla.

Qualifying continues today as the 64-man field is pared to 32 bowlers, with the final five rounds scheduled for Wednesday.
