Red Dog Days

During June, the summer conditioning program will be at 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. In July, sessions are set for noon and 6 p.m. Monday through Friday with a third session at 6 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. All sessions are at Memorial Stadium. Also, road running is scheduled for every Saturday morning until the end of July. Starting point is near the Lied Center overpass bridge.

Lawrence Bicycle Club

Saturday — Muffin ride departs 8 a.m. from Broken Arrow Park, 31st and Louisiana streets for Lone Star Lake, 35-mile ride.

Sunday — Show-n-go ride, a longer tour with varying destinations, begins at 8:30 a.m. in South Park.

Tuesday — Smell the roses ride at 6 p.m. from Constant Park, Fifth and Tennessee streets, 20-mile ride.

Thursday — Comet ride, a 22-mile loop from Broken Arrow Park, 31st and Louisiana streets, to Vinland, Sibleyville and back. Ride begins at 6 p.m. Social ride also offered. Lawrence Parks and Recreation

Bhaktivana yoga

Monday — Advanced beginner class meets at 6:30 p.m. at the Bhaktivana Yoga Center, 1204 N. 200 Road, Baldwin. Class also offered at 9:30 a.m. Saturdays at the center.

Tuesday — Gentle yoga class meets at 9:30 a.m. and beginner class at 4 p.m. at the center. Beginner class also offered at 4 p.m. Thursdays at the center.

Wednesday — All-levels class meets at 6:30 p.m. at Ecumenical Christian Ministries, 1204 Oread Ave.
