Evelyn Anna Miller

Topeka ? Services for Evelyn Anna Miller, 85, Topeka, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel, Topeka. Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery.

Mrs. Miller died Friday, June 13, 2003, at McCrite Health Center, Topeka.

She was born July 25, 1917, in Irving, the daughter of Adolph A. and Carrie A. (Luznicky) Kratochvil. She was a graduate of Hays High School.

Mrs. Miller worked as a secretary for Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. , in both Hays and Topeka, from 1935 until her retirement in 1979. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and Telephone Pioneers.

She married Irvin B. Miller on June 7, 1947, in Topeka. He died June 19, 1985.

Survivors include a brother, Dale Kratochvil, Greeley, Colo.; and three sisters, Mildred Luckan, Lawrence, and Marcella Buchmeier and Carolyn Fitzgerald, both of Topeka.

Friends may call after 8 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
