Castillo fills in for Giles on roster

? Florida’s Luis Castillo was named to the National League All-Star team Sunday, replacing injured Atlanta second baseman Marcus Giles.

Castillo was congratulated by his teammates in the Marlins’ dugout during Florida’s game against Montreal when manager Jack McKeon told him he had been added to the team.

The switch-hitting second baseman has 14 stolen bases and is hitting .314 with six homers and 26 RBIs. He will make his second straight All-Star appearance.
