Bulldog girls rout Wellsville, 64-24

? Kari Garrison scored 19 points and Emily Brown added 16, helping Baldwin High’s girls basketball squad improve to 10-1 with a 64-24 rout of Wellsville.

The Bulldogs jumped to a 36-19 halftime lead, and their defense never let up, allowing the Eagles just five points in the second half.

Katelyn Miles added seven points for the Bulldogs, who don’t play again until next Tuesday — again at Wellsville in the Wellsville Tournament.

Wendy Moore had seven points and Lacey Roecker six for the Eagles.

Louisburg boys 63, DeSoto 49

Spring Hill — Tyler O’Brien and Brad Marks each had 15 points, leading the Louisburg boys to a victory against DeSoto in the first round of the Spring Hill Invitational.

Junior Ryan Brown scored 15 for DeSoto, and sophomore Danny Brown added 11 for the Wildcats, who trailed 27-17 at halftime. Ryan Brown was 4-of-6 from the free-throw line.

DeSoto’s offense got going in the second half, but its defense didn’t. The Wildcats managed 32 second-half points, but allowed 36.
