The following events and construction projects may affect commuter traffic this week in the region:
U.S. Highway 75, at 46th Street, traffic detoured through roundabout for construction.
Kansas University men’s basketball vs. Wyoming, 8 p.m. Wednesday, Allen Fieldhouse, KU campus.
KU men’s basketball vs. Kansas State, 7 p.m. Saturday, Allen Fieldhouse, KU campus.
The following city construction projects may affect traffic this week:
North Michigan Street, north of the Woodcreek Town Homes entrance to Riverridge Road, no through traffic for road improvements.
Intersection of Ninth and Iowa streets, traffic interruptions for water line installation.
Louisiana Street, 900 block, intermittent lane closures for street repair.
Rhode Island Street, 900 to 1200 blocks, intermittent lane closures for street repair.
New York Street, 900 to 1200 blocks, intermittent lane closures for street repair.
Ousdahl Road, 19th Street to 21st Street; 19th Terrace; 20th Street; 20th Terrace; and 21st Street, Stewart Avenue to east of Naismith Drive; closed for storm sewer improvements.
31st Street, Iowa Street to Ousdahl Road, traffic reduced to one lane each direction for road improvements.
