More than 20 swim teams, including the host Lawrence Aquahawks, will invade the Lawrence Indoor Aquatic Center this weekend for the Missouri Valley Division II West Short Course championships.

Competition will begin at 6 tonight for 18 boys and girls races. Another 80 events are on tap Saturday and Sunday with a 9 a.m. starting time each day.

Next week, the city’s indoor pool will be used for the NAIA men’s and women’s swim championships. That meet will start Wednesday and run through Saturday.
