Area Roundup: Sumner stops Ottawa boys

? The Cyclones suffered their first league loss Tuesday to a team they beat handily Feb. 7, as Kansas City Sumner toppled Ottawa, 70-58.

“It was just a flip-flop,” Ottawa coach David Grover said. “A little payback.”

Despite seven three-pointers, Ottawa (15-3) scored just 58 points, well below its average of 79.

Sumner avenged a 17-point home loss to Ottawa and improved to 15-4.
