Hubert-Beightel

Laura Elaine Hubert and Eric Benjamin Beightel, both of Lawrence, were married Nov. 9, 2002, at Plymouth Congregational Church in Lawrence with the Rev. Lewis Hinshaw officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Wesley and Patricia Hubert, Lawrence. The groom is the son of C.W. and Karen Beightel, Lawrence.

Maid of honor was Erin Hubert. Best man was Matthew Parks. Bridesmaids were Kristi Dubiel, Abby Rosdahl, Allison Sollars and Katie Welter. Groomsmen were Christopher Beightel, Andrew Congrove, Andrew Hudnall and Isaac Wiley.

Flower girl was Ryley Sifford. Ushers were Ernie Sifford, Adam Cordova, Paul Nuzum and Matthew Schwartz. Acolytes were Risa Petty and Tara Lynn. Reader was Becca Booth-Meyers. Soloists were Alan Tollefson and Morgan Loveland. Helen Hawley was organist. Shannon Krider and Elaine Renfrow assisted at the church. Evelyn Allen, Anna Cairney and Madeline Cairney assisted at the reception.

A reception at Liberty Hall followed the ceremony.

The bride is a 1996 graduate of Lawrence High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in economics in 2000 from Kansas University. She is a merchandise planner for Parade of Shoes, a division of Payless ShoeSource, in Topeka.

The groom is a 1995 graduate of Lawrence High School. He received a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies from KU in 2001. He is environmental permitting coordinator for Brungardt Honomichl & Co. in Overland Park.

The couple reside in Lawrence.

Heiman-Kelly

Laura Heiman and Wade Kelly, both of Lawrence, were married Oct. 12, 2002, at Circle S Ranch in Lawrence with Judge Michael Malone officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Don and Ginny Heiman, Lawrence. The groom is the son of Don and Sarah Benda, Atwood, and Alex Mercedes, Oakland, Calif.

Maid of honor was Anne Catlla. Best man was Jason Lillich. Bridesmaids were Mandy Lillich, Heather McElwee, Susan Heiman, Kelly Heiman and Elizabeth Benda. Groomsmen were Jason Khomsi, Sean Patton, John Benda and Austin Morgan.

Donna Patton-Bryant was cake cutter and greeter. Bill Crahon played the guitar, and Scott Tichnor played mandolin.

A reception followed the ceremony at the Circle S Ranch.

The bride is a 1995 graduate of Lawrence High School. She is a Kansas University student. The groom is a 1996 graduate of Atwood High School. He attends KU.

The couple reside in Lawrence.

Tingle-Berg-Meiners

Carol Tingle-Berg and David Meiners, both of Lawrence, were married Jan. 2, 2003, in their Lawrence home with the Rev. Michael L Birney officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Loeta Tingle, Lawrence, and the late Nelson Tingle. The groom is the son of Henry and Marilyn Meiners, Topeka.

Matron of honor was Brenda Paul. Best man was Craig Paul.

The brides works for Westar Energy. The groom is employed by Kansas University.

The couple reside in Lawrence.
