Law enforcement report

• A 23-year-old Wewoka, Okla., man was arrested about 3 a.m. Sunday after a fight with several other men over a parking space at Days Inn, 2309 Iowa, according to a Lawrence Police report. Police also confiscated a handgun and determined that the suspect was a felon in possession of a weapon. Charges are pending.

Burglaries and thefts reported

• A 21-year-old Lawrence woman told Lawrence Police someone took her 1986 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. The car had been parked in the 2500 block of West 31st Street. A police report listed the value of the car at $9,000.
