Free State High senior David Allen and Lawrence senior Brian Seymour were named to the Greater Kansas City Football Coaches Assn. Top 11 scholar athlete team. Joining them are Baldwin senior Dan Hamilton and Mill Valley senior John Goodin as the top students in the area.

Players were chosen for outstanding academic and on-field achievements.

Eleven players also were chosen from the Missouri side of the K.C. Metro area. All 22 will be honored Feb. 22 at the Park Place Hotel in Kansas City, Mo.
