Gordon, UConn rout UMass

? Ben Gordon’s teammates have seen it all before. The roundhouse dunk or a rim-rattling slam to finish a break or a cool three-pointer with a man in his face, that’s just Ben being Ben, the Connecticut Huskies say.

Tuesday night, Massachusetts got an eyeful, too.

The junior guard scored 34 points, going 7-of-8 from three-point range, leading the top-ranked Huskies (10-1) to an easy 91-67 victory over their rival.

“We see that every single day,” point guard Taliek Brown said. “The things he does don’t even amaze us.”

Freshman Charlie Villanueva stepped up in the post with a career-high 19 points, most off offensive rebounds.
