Burglaries and thefts reported

• A 91-year-old resident of Brandon Woods Retirement Community, 1501 Inverness Drive, reported her diamond ring worth $7,658 stolen between Dec. 9 and 10, according to a report. She’s also missing a ring worth $125.
• More than $1,000 in property, including a Sony PlayStation2, $500 in cash, a DVD player and a television, were taken Monday from the 900 block of Murrow Court, according to a report. There was no forced entry, according to the report.
