Chicago Board of Trade

Soybean futures sank lower Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Grains finished mixed, with wheat rising and corn prices dropping.

Wheat for March delivery rose 3 cents to $3.89 1/2 a bushel; March corn fell 1 1/2 cent to $2.52 a bushel; March oats fell 3/4 cent to $1.47 1/2 a bushel; January soybeans fell 8 3/4 cents to $7.64 1/4 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures declined on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle fell .77 cent to 89.20 cents a pound; January feeder cattle fell 1.05 cent to 94.70 cents a pound; February lean hogs fell 1.05 cent to 51.75 cents a pound; February pork bellies fell .50 cent to 84.80 cents a pound.
