Ivy Eveline Reid
Services for Ivy Eveline Reid, 78, Oskaloosa, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Mustard Seed Christian Fellowship, Lawrence. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Pleasant View Cemetery, Oskaloosa.
Mrs. Reid died Thursday, Dec. 11, 2003, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
She was born Sept. 17, 1925, in Southampton, England. She had lived in Oskaloosa since 1966.
Mrs. Reid was a homemaker. She also owned and managed rental properties in Oskaloosa. She was a member of Mustard Seed Christian Fellowship.
She married Frank Belford Reid on Aug. 31, 1944, in Basingstoke, England. He died March 26, 1997. A daughter, Janet A. Reid Davis, also died earlier.
Survivors include two sons, Brian A. Reid Sr., Perry, and Frank B. Reid Sr., Lawrence; four daughters, Sylvia Hemelrick, Lecompton, Melanie Hemphill and Christine Reid, both of Oskaloosa, and Glenda Allen, Odessa, Fla.; 16 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
Family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Barnett Funeral Home in Oskaloosa.
