Private family services for Marjorie A. Tennes/Seib, 64, Manhattan, were Monday in Manhattan.

Mrs. Tennes/Seib died Monday, Aug. 4, 2003.

She was born Oct. 12, 1938, in Evansville, Ind., the daughter of Louis Tennes and Marie Dugan. She attended primary and secondary school in Evansville. She moved to Appleton, Wis., in 1965 and to Manhattan in 1970.

Mrs. Tennes/Seib was a dental assistant after graduation. She was an office assistant for Interfraternity Council at Kansas State University for about eight years, then worked for the department of management in the college of business for another 10 years. She was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease in 1988 and has lived in Meadowlark Hill Retirement Community in Manhattan since 1994.

She married Paul A. Seib on Sept. 27, 1958. He survives.

Other survivors include two sons, Lawrence L. Seib, Lawrence, and Gregory A. Seib, Fayetteville, Ark.; three sisters, Francis Feller, Fenton, Mo., Ella Jean Smith and Mary Vivian Carlisle, both of Evansville; two brothers, Sherman Tennes, Evansville, and Robert Tennes, Arlington, Texas; and two grandchildren.
