However, the T’s advocates have said it provides a good alternative mode of public transportation for people who are not able to afford taxi service or afford their own vehicles. They’ve said it will just take time for attitudes about public transportation to change before more people take advantage of it.

However, in light of the city’s current budget crisis, should the city continue its funding for the T?
