Centennial School parent Brent Lamb was misidentified in a Journal-World story Thursday about the Lawrence school board’s decision to press ahead with plans to close Centennial and East Heights schools in May.

• The following quote was from Dan Neuenswander, a former Lawrence school superintendent and onetime candidate for the Kansas State Board of Education: “Seven thousand votes? Whoa. Most of the time, we don’t question results. We work so hard, and when we see the results we assume that they are factual. The message here is if you’re involved in something like this, you need to take some time to double check.” The quote was incorrectly attributed in a story in Thursday’s Journal-World.
