Burglaries and thefts reported

A 25-year-old man reported that a DVD player, money and other items were taken sometime Friday night from an apartment in the 500 block of California Street, according to a Lawrence Police report. Someone forced open a window to enter, police said. Damage and losses were listed at $1,235.

A set of golf clubs were taken from a garage in the 2400 block of Lancaster Drive, a man reported to police Saturday. The garage door had been left open, police said. Losses were listed at $1,200.
