He was born March 13, 1932, in Cloud Chief, Okla., the son of Earl E. and Gladys Faye (Airington) Hall. He graduated from Oskaloosa High School in 1948.

Mr. Hall served in the U.S. Air Force from 1951 to 1953. He then worked for the state of Kansas as an aerial photographer. He also worked for Sunflower Army Ammunition Plant.

He married Norma J. Hall on Oct. 29, 1949, in Lawrence. She survives of Lawrence.

Other survivors include a son, Danny L., West Palm Beach, Fla.; a daughter, Diana Tucker, Lawrence; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A son, Dennis L., died on July 15, 1980, and a grandson died Sept. 24, 2001.
