Mae Irene Young Gibler

Mrs. Gibler died Thursday, Oct. 10, 2002, at Woodstock Residence.

She was born Jan. 28, 1923, in Lone Star, the daughter of Henry and Esther Young. She attended Worden schools and was a former Lawrence resident.

Mrs. Gibler had worked at Sunflower Ordnance Ammunition Plant. She was also a homemaker.

She married Leslie Roland Gibler on Dec. 25, 1941, in Lawrence. They divorced in 1965.

Survivors include two sons, David L. Gibler, Lecompton, and Leslie R. Gibler, Lincoln, Neb.; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

A son, Ivan H. Gibler, died earlier.
