She was born July 23, 1920, in Brown County, the daughter of Melvin and Vera (Potter) Williams.

Mrs. Lowe was a homemaker. She was a member of United Methodist Church in Bonner Springs, Methodist Women’s Circle and Jolly Jills Home Extension Unit.

She married Harold Lowe on Aug. 12, 1939. He died earlier.

Survivors include three daughters, Barbara E. Sass and Karen Hancock, both of Tonganoxie, and Judy K. Booth, Kansas City, Kan.; a brother, Ray O. Williams, Washington state; a sister, Mary L. Gilsdorf, Shawnee; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Quisenberry Funeral Home in Tonganoxie.
