Owings Mills, Md. ? Chris McAlister’s return of a missed field goal against the Denver Broncos on Monday night will go into the record books as 107 yards, not 108.

McAlister’s touchdown romp for the Baltimore Ravens remains the longest in NFL history, eclipsing the previous mark of 106 yards. But after studying photos and video footage of the play, the Elias Sports Bureau determined that the kick by Denver’s Jason Elam went seven yards into the end zone.

Officials at the game called the play 108 yards, making the judgment based on the location of McAlister’s back foot.
