KANSAS CITY, KAN. ? A former dean of the Kansas University School of Nursing will promote her new book Monday at the KU Medical Center.

Eleanor Sullivan, who served as dean from 1988 to 1995, is author of “Twice Dead,” a mystery novel. She is now a part-time faculty member at the School of Nursing.

Sullivan will attend a “meet-the-author” session at 5 p.m. Monday, read from her book at 5:30 p.m. and sign books at 6:30 p.m.

All events are in the School of Nursing Atrium and Auditorium, 3901 Rainbow Blvd.

Sullivan’s book can be purchased at the KU Medical Center bookstore. A portion of her May book sales go to nursing scholarships.

“Twice Dead” features a nurse sleuth who solves a murder while working at a hospital. Sullivan’s next book, “Deadly Diversion,” will be released next year.
