Kansas finishes 10th at Big 12 golf tourney

? Kansas University junior Chris Marshall tied for 13th place Tuesday at the Big 12 Championship, but the Jayhawks had to settle for 10th as a team.

Marshall carded a 68 for a three-round total of 217 at the 6,598-yard, par-70 Prairie Dunes Country Club. KU finished with a final-round 294 for a total of 895.

Texas won the championship with 850 strokes, just a stroke ahead of Oklahoma State and three ahead of Oklahoma.
