Toronto ? Quarterback Michael Bishop, a 1998 Heisman Trophy finalist from Kansas State, was traded by the CFL’s Calgary Stampeders to the Toronto Argonauts. Bishop was selected in the seventh round of the 1999 NFL draft by New England but played sparingly in two seasons. Bishop never played for the Stampeders but his CFL rights belonged to Calgary.
