Burglaries and thefts reported
A 24-year-old Lawrence man reported that $2,100 in U.S. currency, $400 in U.S. coins and other items valued at $4,175 were taken between 9:30 p.m. March 14 and 7 a.m. March 23 from his home in the 1900 block of Kentucky Street .
A 1998 GMC Sonoma pickup valued at $7,000 was stolen between 2 a.m. and 2:05 a.m. Friday from the 2500 block of Lazy Brook Lane. The truck belongs to a 40-year-old Lawrence man.
