She was born on July 18, 1918, in DeValls Bluff, Ark., the daughter of Isaac and Piety (Robinson) Nicholson.

Mrs. Jones was a homemaker and had worked in retail. She was a member of the Bella Vista Christian Church. She lived in Kansas City, Kan., for many years before moving to Arkansas 18 years ago.

She married W.C. Jones on Nov. 30, 1939, in DeValls Bluff. He died March 13, 1991.

Survivors include a daughter, Debra Carol Rightmire, Little Rock, Ark.; two sons, W. Donald Jones, Longmont, Colo., and Dr. Keith Jones, Lawrence; a brother, Thomas Boswell Nicholson, Memphis, Tenn.; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
