Gary W. Leonard Sr.

Baldwin ? Services for Gary W. Leonard Sr., 58, Port Sheldon, Mich., formerly of Baldwin, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Annunciation Catholic Church, Baldwin. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Baldwin.

Mr. Leonard died Thursday, June 20, 2002, in Holland, Mich.

He was born Oct. 30, 1943, in Clinton, Mo., the son of Wallace and Bernadine (Cook) Leonard. In the early 1950s, the family moved to the Kansas City area, where he graduated from Southwest High School.

In 1972, he started FliteCraft, a company that manufactures radio-controlled airplanes and boats, which he owned and operated until his death.

Mr. Leonard married Alice M. Comer on April 18, 1964, at Saint Elizabeth’s Catholic Church, Kansas City, Mo. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include two sons, Gary W. Jr., Baldwin, and Jim, Holland, Mich.; seven brothers, Glen, Greg, Doug, Dan, Jeff, Kevin and Joe; three sisters, Julie Keller, Marianne Moloney, and Linda McKenzie; and four grandchildren.

Friends may call after 1 p.m. today at Lamb-Roberts-Heise Funeral Home, Baldwin. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
