Burglaries and thefts reported
A 42-year-old Lawrence man told Lawrence Police that someone took a trailer valued at $5,000 between noon Saturday and noon Monday from the 1300 block of North Third Street.
A Playstation and 30 Playstation games were removed between 12:30 a.m. and 7 a.m. Tuesday from a residence in the 2500 block of Via Linda Drive, a Lawrence Police report said. The items, valued at $1,850, were reported stolen by a 42-year-old Lawrence woman who lives at the residence. A window screen sustained $100 damage during the burglary.
Someone removed a Toshiba color television, Sony digital still camera and an old, wooden door between 6:30 a.m. and 7 a.m. Sunday from the 800 block of Arkansas Street, a Lawrence Police report said. The 51-year-old Lawrence woman who reported the theft estimated the items’ worth at $1,300.
