Former Kansas University forward Drew Gooden is through with individual workouts for NBA teams.

Gooden, a 6-foot-11 power forward from Richmond, Calif., has worked out for Houston, Chicago, Golden State and Memphis the teams with the top four picks in the June 26 NBA Draft. He has canceled today’s workout with the Denver Nuggets.

He’s also canceled workouts with the Cleveland Cavaliers and New York Knicks. The Nuggets pick fifth, the Cavs sixth and Knicks seventh.

“Drew is confident from the four previous workouts that he is in good standing,” said Gooden’s agent, Calvin Andrews of Bill Duffy Sports Management. “We’re still holding the idea we may have a central workout for (other) teams.”

Gooden is expected to be taken in the top six in the NBA Draft.
