The first Kansas football game of the 2002 season which doubles as the first game of the Mark Mangino era will be shown on television.

Iowa State officials announced Friday that the KU-Iowa State contest, set for Aug. 31 in Jack Trice Stadium in Ames, Iowa, will begin at 11:30 a.m. and be shown on Fox Sports Net.
