Burglaries and thefts reported

A 22-year-old Lawrence woman told Lawrence Police that 150 compact discs and a CD player were taken from her car between 11:30 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Saturday in the 1000 block of Mississippi Street. A window was shattered. The items were valued at $3,300. Damage was estimated at $300.

A 1983 Oldsmobile Cutlass valued at $2,500 was taken between July 4 and Friday in the 1900 block of Miller Drive, a 41-year-old Lawrence man told Lawrence Police.

A 1992 Chevy Blazer valued at $6,000 was taken between 6 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. Friday in the 1500 block of Powers Street, a 39-year-old Lawrence woman told Lawrence Police.

Injury accidents

A Eudora woman was injured after a two-vehicle accident about 9 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of Douglas County Road 1055 and North 1100 Road southeast of Lawrence. A passenger car operated by the Eudora woman was westbound on North 1100 Road. As her vehicle crossed the intersection, it was struck on the driver’s side by a pickup truck driven by a Baldwin man who was traveling northbound on Douglas County Road 1055. The woman was taken from the scene by Life Net to KU Med. The Baldwin man was not injured. The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office was not releasing the names of the individuals Sunday pending family notification.
