Florida: 3 found dead in pool

A woman returning home from work Friday found her neighbor’s three young sons floating face down in her back yard pool, police said.

The Metelus boys James, 9, Jon Paul, 7 and Ocnel, 4, were transported to a Fort Pierce hospital where they were pronounced dead.

There was no obvious evidence of foul play but police were investigating the deaths as homicides.

South Carolina: 15 injured in bus crash

A Greyhound bus ran into the back of an 18-wheeler after traffic slowed unexpectedly near Greenville, injuring 15 passengers, authorities said.

None of the injuries was life-threatening, said Public Safety Department spokeswoman Sherri Iacobelli. There were 38 people on the bus traveling from Atlanta to Charlotte, N.C.

The bus driver was charged with following too closely, Iacobelli said.
