Patricia Ann Land

McAlester, Okla. Services for Patricia Ann Land, 54, Krebs, Okla., will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Bishop Chapel of Memories, McAlester. Cremation is planned.

Ms. Land died Friday, Feb. 22, 2002, at her home.

She was born Feb. 22, 1948, in Baker, Ore., the daughter of Jasper and Naomi (Barnes) Land. She grew up and attended schools in Leavenworth, Kan., and graduated from Leavenworth High School.

Ms. Land later attended Pittsburg State College, where she received her bachelor’s degree in education. She taught school in Pittsburg, Kan., and also worked for Quaker Oats for 15 years. After she moved to McAlester she worked for the Huntsman Plastic Plant and also worked for two years at McAlester Army Ammunitions Plant. She was an artist and musician.

Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Naomi and Joseph McCourt, Lawrence, Kan.; and four sisters, Debra Kuhn, McAlester, Okla., Phyllis Engum, Waconia, Minn., Linda New, Lompoc, Calif., and Raenae Bray, Fort Worth, Tex.
