Mary Lee Scott

Mrs. Scott died Thursday, Feb. 21, 2002, at Stoney Brook Nursing Home, Manhattan.

She was born Jan. 7, 1927, in Okmulgee, Okla., the daughter of Lewis and Mary (Sweeney) Stewart.

She lived in Hays for a number of years before moving to El Dorado in 1978, and to Bella Vista, Ark., in 1988. She returned to El Dorado in 1992, and lived there until 2000.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, El Dorado, P.E.O. and Order of the Eastern Star.

She married Robert Scott on June 18, 1950, in Great Bend. He died June 8, 2000.

Survivors include three sons, Patrick, Victoria, Michael, Lawrence, and William Hall, Missoula, Mont.; a daughter, Susan Scott, Wamego; her stepmother, Helen Stewart, Oklahoma City; a half-brother, Dave Stewart, Oklahoma City; and eight grandchildren.

The family will designate memorials at a later date, sent to Carlson Funeral Home, 200 South Star St., El Dorado 67042.
