Canton, Mo. Angie Miller scored 18 points and Gayla Brown 17 to lead Baker University to a 100-69 women’s basketball victory over Culver-Stockton in women’s basketball on Thursday. Erin Robinson added 11 points and Tasha Gentry chipped in 10 for BU (17-12/10-7 HAAC).

Tabor topples OU

Ottawa Angela Kroeker scored 22 points to lead Tabor to a 66-54 victory over Ottawa in women’s basketball on Thursday. Angie Bandstra scored 18 points on eight-of-15 shooting to pace the Braves.

Schwerman sparks BU

Canton, Mo. Aaron Schwerman scored 24 points on eight-of-15 shooting to spark Baker to a 65-55 men’s basketball victory over Culver-Stockton on Thursday. Pedro Dos Santos and Scott Johnson scored 12 apiece for BU (11-17 overall/7-10 HAAC). Brandon McDonnell added 10 points.

Ottawa men triumph

Ottawa Tony Porter scored 17 points and Nick Young added 11 to spark Ottawa to a 61-56 men’s basketball victory over Tabor on Thursday.
