Myrtle B. Debutts
Services for Myrtle B. Debutts, 88, Lawrence, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fall Creek Cemetery, Leavenworth County.
Mrs. Debutts died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2002, at her home.
She was born Aug. 31, 1913, in southwest Michigan, the daughter of Floyd and Martha Hecox. She grew up in Hartford, Mich. She attended Bible Baptist Seminary School, Fort Worth, Tex., from 1949 to 1951.
Mrs. Debutts worked at Lawrence Memorial Hospital for several years in the 1960s and 1970s.
She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, Lawrence.
She married Roy Debutts on Feb. 17, 1936, in Hartford, Mich. He survives of the home.
Other survivors include a daughter, Judith Osburn, Lecompton; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday.
The family suggests memorials to the church, sent in care of the funeral home.
